The Guided Impact Foundation (GIF) provides grants that help fund Christian nonprofits to achieve their goals.

GIF is an independent nonprofit and is overseen by a board that approves all grants. Guided Impact handles all the fundraising and administrative duties of the foundation.

We change communities and transform lives by helping nonprofits become more
efficient and effective.

There are many ways to meet the challenges an organization faces in terms of its efficiency and effectiveness, and we believe that granting tools to nonprofits is one of the most significant strategies; this strategy “moves the needle” and increases the effectiveness of the very nonprofits that our communities count on.

Fundraising is the backbone of any nonprofit organization.

 

The reality is that donations, in and of themselves, are not quite enough. That is because money does not solve all problems. Consider that nonprofit leaders are often distracted from their primary duties because they often feel obligated to take on heavy administrative and organizational tasks in order to maintain their budget. This type of situation sidetracks the leader, focusing him or her on such tasks as marketing and accounting instead of on the oversight of the organization’s mission and vision.

 

Guided Impact recognizes this problem, and our solution is for donors not only to make financial contributions to an organization but also to offer certain tools to those organizations in order to encourage and keep them accountable with how they allocate their monies. For example, an organization’s plan to spend $10,000 on a website redesign or $3,000 on a video may not be based on a line item they have in their budget for the year, but at the same time those plans may be critical tools to increase funding and supporters for the upcoming year. Thus, the Guided Impact Foundation grants funds to pay for part of these services so nonprofits can maintain their budget and continue the focus on their programs. We do not want our nonprofit leaders spending precious hours doing bookkeeping or wrestling with the logistics of event planning when Guided Impact can offer highly-trained and passionate experts who can help the organization while allowing the leader to focus like a laser on his primary job – overseeing the organization’s mission, vision, and impact.

The foundation is fully funded by generous donors who believe in Guided Impact’s mission and who trust us to properly vet and keep accountable the nonprofit organizations who receive our grants. While many donors do not have the time to fully engage with the nonprofit organizations to whom they give, Guided Impact can fully engage on their behalf.

 

Consider the fact that The National Center on Charitable Statistics recently revealed that approximately 30% of nonprofits fail to exist after 10 years. Similarly, Forbes found that more than half of all nonprofit organizations fail or stall within a few years because of failures in leadership and strategic planning.

 

Given these sad statistics, and Guided Impact’s ability to help nonprofit organizations succeed, we ask you to consider giving annually to the Guided Impact Foundation.

Your gift will enable us to continue giving grants and partnering with nonprofits. Your gifts to the Guided Impact Foundation are investments into our community nonprofits - investments that help organizations achieve sustainability.

GRANT REQUEST

Fill out the form below to submit a grant request for your nonprofit. We want to partner with you to fund key tools necessary to the success of your organization and mission. In addition to offering grants, our foundation has a list of partner organizations who already have negotiated pricing that you qualify for simply because you have requested a grant (meaning that you qualify for the discounted rate whether or not you receive a grant).

 

Criteria for receiving grants:

  • Christian Nonprofits must agree to our statement of faith

  • Organizations must have an annual budget of less than $500,000

  • Organizations must demonstrate a need for a particular tool or service provided by Guided Impact

  • Organizations must receive multiple bids if the organization is outside our list of trusted partners
